A zen family photography session

Publié le 2 August 2016

séance de photographie de couple, famille et maternitéIt now has been over 9 months that I’m living here in St-Georges de Beauce, Quebec. Every single day, I discover new breathtaking areas and extraordinary people. I love when I can have both because it results in beautiful photography, like the one below.

So we did this photography session with Marjorie, her lover Mirza and her son Zachary. They came to see me to capture the arrival of the new baby. They wanted the most natural photography so that’s what we did. We captured this maternity photography session in the Chaudière River, in St-Georges. The place was definitely meant for that natural style of picture that we did. I really love the style. It was zen. Good weather and nice sunset were as well on our side. And let it be said, what a beautiful family!

If you are wondering how I took the pictures in the river, well… yes you can imagine. I had the water upper then the knees. Besides, I almost felt in the river a couple of times due to the slippery rocks. What we have to do to have incredible image? At least it was worth it! Marjorie and her family really enjoyed the experience. I look forward to seeing them when the baby will be born.

Feel free to share this blog post around. Like the pictures? Summer is getting to its end soon. If you wish to live a photographic experience like this one, please contact me to talk about your project. I can’t wait to meet you, anywhere in Canada.

Ciao

Here’s a beautiful comment left by Marjorie. This kind of comments warms my heart!

“You have the gift to put us at ease. You listened and respected what we wanted as [photographic] style. You were able to fetch beauty in its simplest form in the nature. We love the pictures; you did such a great job. A great photographer.”
